Have your vehicle license plate numbers ready and use our online search. The Vehicle Taxes History lists the value-based taxes paid including Government Services Tax and Supplemental Government Services Tax. The Basic Registration Fee is not value-based.
Sales taxes paid to the DMV are also listed, but sales taxes paid to auto dealers are not listed. Taxes paid to dealers are listed on the sales contract.
The online service lists the prior year's taxes. If you need information for earlier years, please see your prior income tax returns. The amount of your deduction may have been different than the amount you paid to the DMV. If you need the actual amounts paid on your vehicles, contact the DMV Records Section.

2005 Rebate
The 2005 Nevada Tax Rebate may or may not have to be listed as income on your tax return for that year. Read the IRS Fact Sheet carefully. Contact the DMV Records Section for the actual amount of your rebate.
