Gentleman's Club Fire - Investigation Completed

The fire that caused extensive damage to the Sagebrush Gentleman's Club was determined to be accidental in cause. According to Deputy State Fire Marshal Dennis Ely and Assistant State Fire Marshal Bryon Slobe the fire in a room located on the west side of the brothel. A lit candle located on a night stand next to the bed ignited the bedding material. The fire progressed upward into the attic causing the fire to spread through four wings of the building. Three people were transported to the hospital. The lack of fire hydrants within this location hampered firefighting efforts and contributed to the extension of the fire throughout the building.
