Lovelock Residents Plead Guilty to Assault Charges
Testimony by witnesses leads NDI investigators to quickly close case
The Nevada Division of Investigation (NDI), responding to the request for assistance from the Lovelock Police Department, closed the case on three Lockwood men who plead guilty to battery with the use of a deadly weapon.
Lovelock residents Merlin Addenbrooke, Patrick Garrett and John Bates were arrested on May 30, 1998 in the May 29, 1998 beating of Richard Bracamonte, also of Lovelock. Witnesses to the crime, Michelle Gonzalez, Wade Elvendalh, Travis Swindlehurst, Josaline Bates and Holly Donaldson, testified to NDI investigators that the assault against Bracamonte took place.
