Silver Springs Fire Determined to be Accidental

House fire claims life of three-year-old child

The Office of the Fire Marshal and Lyon County Sheriff's Office has determined that the Silver Springs fire that occurred on February 24, 1999 at 1135 Banner Way was accidental in nature. No charges will be filed.   The fire claimed the life of a three year old girl and also caused injuries to the mother of the victim.
