Nevada Highway Patrol Arrests On-Duty Trooper for DUI

The Nevada Highway Patrol arrested one of its troopers today for driving under the influence of alcohol. Antony Skordoulis, a six-year veteran of NHP based out of Las Vegas was on duty and transporting a prisoner in the Alamo area of Lincoln county when he was stopped and given a field sobriety test.

Trooper Skordoulis was booked into Lincoln County jail for misdemeanor drunken driving. He was placed on leave pending the outcome of an administrative investigation.
