WHY

The DMV and AAA are offering an additional convenience to the motoring public.

In 2015, the AAA "DMV in a Box" kiosks processed more than 55,000 transactions – a 9% increase over 2014. The total for all DMV kiosks statewide came in at more than 647,000.

In December 2015, AAA Nevada and the Nevada DMV partnered to pilot an additional payment tender – cash at two Las Vegas AAA branches.  The pilot proved to be successful as 7 percent of the transactions in January 2016 were paid in cash and the usage is expected to nearly double by the end of February. The goal of the partnership is to reach more Nevada residents by offering services to the unbanked or underserved.

AAA is dedicated to servicing its members with the expertise and quality they have come to expect. AAA Nevada offers a wide array of automotive, travel, insurance, DMV, financial services and consumer discounts to more than 4.2 million members. AAA has been a leader and advocate for the safety and security of all travelers since it was founded 115 years ago.
