Pahrump DMV Office to Move

The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles will be moving its field services branch office in Pahrump next week.
No DMV services will be available in Pahrump on Wednesday, November 1st, to enable workers to move into the permanent new office at 1780 E. Basin Ave. Suite 1.

The new facility will open Thursday, November 2nd.

The new Pahrump office is at the same location as the current temporary office. The Pahrump DMV’s eight employees have been housed in a triple-wide manufactured building since July, 2005, pending construction of the new building.

The leased office, part of the Basin Business Park, features 4,300 square feet, 9 service windows, a self-service cash kiosk, automated knowledge testing in an enclosed testing room and a full vehicle inspection station.

The Department encourages Pahrump residents to use its alternate services when possible. Many transactions, such as registration renewals or address changes, can be completed on the Internet or by mail. Visit the DMV web site at www.dmvnv.com.
