LIMITED SERVICES JUNE 17-18 AS LAUGHLIN OFFICE REMODELS

The Laughlin office of the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles will reduce services Thursday afternoon and Friday, June 17-18, while new counters and carpet are installed. Motorists will only be able to request temporary permits and get questions answered at the Laughlin office, 3030 S. Needles Highway Suite 900. All other services will be referred to the Henderson or Las Vegas offices.

The Laughlin office will open for business as usual Monday, June 21 at 8 a.m.

The remodel will cost about $6,500. A crew of Prison Industries inmates will replace the counters. A private contractor will replace the carpeting. Laughlin customers who must complete a DMV transaction late Thursday or Friday may visit the Henderson office, 1399 American Pacific Dr. at Stephanie. The Henderson and Las Vegas offices are open Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, DMV’s Web site, at www.dmvnv.com, is a quick and easy alternative to visiting a DMV office. The Web site offers driver’s license and vehicle registration renewal services as well as the ability to download forms, calculate fees and print out personal driver histories.
