Henderson DMV To Reopen
Air Conditioning Problems Fixed
The air conditioning system at the Henderson Department
of Motor Vehicles office is operational. The office will open at its normal time
of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18th.
High temperatures in the building at 1399 American Pacific Dr. had forced managers to curtail services and send employees to the other DMV offices in Las Vegas early Tuesday afternoon.
The air conditioning problems began last week with the failure of a fan inside the main air conditioning unit. The State Buildings and Grounds Division replaced the fan and completed other repairs Tuesday.
