NHP Cadets Graduate from Academy
Ceremony culminates the end of intense 22 week training

After 22 weeks of intense training, eight enforcement cadets will graduate from the XLVI class of the Nevada Highway Patrol Academy. Graduation ceremonies will be held on Friday, June 15 at 2:00pm at the Old Senate Chambers in the State Capitol Building in Carson City. The keynote speaker will be DMV&PS Deputy Director Dave Kiechbusch.

"This graduation ceremony marks the successful completion of intense, live-in training and evaluation." said DMV & PS Director Richard Kirkland, "I am confident the communities they will soon call home will be proud to have them protecting their local roadways."

Cadets receive extensive law enforcement training including State and federal law, firearms, emergency vehicle operations and defensive tactics. The list of successful Nevada Highway Patrol graduates and their duty stations of Academy XLVI is as follows:
